Celebrate Chinese New Year at Hing Hay Park

The Chinatown-International District is celebrating the the arrival of the Year of the Tiger on Saturday with a day full of events at Hing Hay Park.

The fun goes from 11-4 at the park at Maynard and King.  There will be taiko drumming, drill teams, a children's costume parade, a scavenger hunt, lion and dragon dances and more.  A Cultural Activities Pavilion will be set up that will have calligraphy, games and a number of activities for kids.

The Opening Ceremonies will be at noon.  The Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area is putting on the event.

So...it's going to be a busy day in the ID on Saturday.
