So long, Skillet walk-up window
Submitted by Julien Perry on Sunday, September 13th, 07:33pm
Skillet, the hugely popular airstream supplying Seattle with some of the city's best street food, has closed its two-month-old walk-up window at Fourth and Main.
In its weekly newsletter, Skillet Street Food explains:
"We have received news that the building has been foreclosed on and we are left with the decision that we will have to vacate the space. While this is disappointing, we are actively looking to create a true Skillet brick and mortar space this year."
Owner Josh Henderson says he is in discussions with a couple of spaces for a new Skillet diner/bar, so stay tuned!
